The Nike Kyrie 2 ‘All Star’ is the latest model to make an appearance apart of Nike Basketball’s 2016 All Star Collection. Kyrie Irving’s second signature shoe will join the KD 8, LeBron 13 and Kobe 11 for this years releases.
Kyrie Irving missed most of the season so far due to injury but is now back with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was edged out as a starter by Kyle Lowry and with strong performances so far by John Wall and Jimmy Butler, Irving could miss the 2016 All Star game as a reserve. Either way, Nike has made sure if he plays that he will have his own special edition sneakers to wear on-court and his fans to purchase.
The ‘All Star’ edition of the Kyrie 2 comes in a Celery, Varsity Maize and Black color theme. Yellow streamlines the base while a couple of removable patches are placed by the collar, one being his number 2. Black then starts out on the midsole and flows through the mid-foot strap while they are completed with a gum outsole.
